Push-Up definitely felt like the most natural nudes of all nudes to me, I put it on and it immediately looked like my natural lip colour, which is hard to meet! Usually, I love to doll up my eyes and play down my lips so adding this colour to my nude collection feels like a blessing. Pair this liquid lipstick with a nude lip liner such as NYX Natural to help complete a nude lip. When worn casually with less makeup, it helps balances out the face so I can definitely see this colour as a day-to-day kind of lippy that can go with anything. Still one of the lighter ones, Lace Detail, is the pinky-nude out of them all and is really cute colour. Pair this liquid lipstick with a darker lip liner such as NYX Toast to help contour the lips a little and define the lip line. The coolest colour of them all, Corset, a mauve-based nude that is totally on trend this fall. As a colour it goes well with olive skin tones and doesn’t wash me out, it isn’t something I typically wear but as an addition to my lighter lipsticks it’s becoming a new favourite.

The durability of the lipsticks is above average but not outstanding, if I’m not eating anything (which is rare haha) the lipstick will last the whole day and then some. Now I wouldn’t go as far to call them long-lasting but they definitely held on tight! When I wear these a makeup wipe just won’t do, I have to either dab on some olive oil or put on a layer of lip balm to help loosen up the formula. Overall wear: True to their word and the reason their lipsticks are extremely popular, these liquid lipsticks are extremely creamy and velvety – so smooth in fact it didn’t feel like I was applying a matte lipstick. Due to their mousse texture they aren’t that drying so if you haven’t applied a layer of lip balm before, boy do they enhance your cracks and trust me… it isn’t pretty. The lightest colours are more patchy meaning I have to double up on layers which results in them feeling slightly sticky, but it’s nothing too annoying to wear. After applying the lipstick they took about 10 seconds to dry making some of the colours change. Though it doesn’t bother me, I know some people either prefer this or absolutely hate it – this type of applicator is usually more common in the less pricey liquid lipsticks.įormula: Each of the Lip Lingerie liquid lipsticks have a smooth suede, mousse-like consistency and easily glide on my lips on the first application. Yes, they may not be as big as brands like Nars or MAC but they have some gems in their makeup collection so, going in with high expectations I have decided to try out their line of Lip Lingerie Matte Liquid Lipsticks. I’m a huge fan of the often overlooked makeup brand NYX Cosmetics, so much so that my makeup bag has a rather large and special place for popular products such as their Tame and Fame Brow Pomade, Soft Matte Lip Creams and Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette (to name a few).
